About Us
The Sutherland Shire Junior Cricket Association (SSJCA) is established to encourage and promote the game of cricket for all players in the Sutherland Shire.
We have a focus on developing Representative players through our networks of dedicated coaches and our association with our local Grade Club.
Sutherland Shire is a great place to play cricket!
What We Offer
We offer three tiers of cricket for both boys and girls:
Blast cricket, junior cricket and representative cricket.
Cricket Blast
Woolworths Cricket Blast is an action-packed program for Australian kids between the ages of 5 & 10 of all abilities who want to learn the basic skills of cricket in a fun and friendly environment.
We offer Blast Cricket on a Saturday morning at Kareela.
Junior Cricket
Cricket is an excellent way to develop lifelong skills beyond the pitch. Junior cricket, played around the shire on a Saturday morning, is a great opportunity to make friends and develop skills in leadership and working as a team.
Representative Cricket
The SSJCA is committed to ensuring every young cricketer has access to high quality representative cricket. We are proud to be part of the NSW Youth Championship and the IDCA.
